Aaron Low Joins COSI 2014

The Centre for Opera Studies in Italy is pleased to announce Aaron Low as part of its 2014 faculty in Sulmona, Italy. Director of The Voice Clinic, and Adjunct Professor at the University of Toronto Faculty of Music, Aaron is heading COSI’s “Voice Care and Pedagogy” team for COSI’s participants, including the COSI Independent Study for Voice Teachers.
COSI’s ISP for Voice Teachers Program includes voice lessons and lesson observation with COSI’s renowned voice faculty: Darryl Edwards, Wendy Nielsen, Timothy Noble and Patrick Raftery, Bodyworks classes with Jennifer Swan, Italian language classes from Tania Puglielli’s School of International Languages, voice pedagogy classes, “Voice Teacher Forums,” and a personal voice analysis with Aaron Low. COSI also offers coaching to its participants from a team that includes such internationally acclaimed specialists as: Annet Andriessen, Rachel Andrist, Giuseppe Finzi, Michael McMahon, Steven Philcox, and Elizabeth Upchurch.
ISP Voice Teachers will receive personalized performance opportunities in COSI’s Courtyard Concerts, Opera Chorus, and Oratorio performances. For more information about COSI’s ISP: Voice Teacher program and all COSI program offerings, visit www.co-si.com/programs.
An added feature for all interested COSI participants in all voice programs is participation in the qualifying round of the International Voice Competition, ‘s-Hertogenbosch! (www.ivc.nu). This will take place in the newly-renovated and beautiful Teatro Comunale – “Maria Caniglia.” (pictured below)
