Montclair State University is delighted to announce the 3rd Annual Singing Voice Science Workshop, running from June 7-9, 2017!
The Singing Voice Science Workshop is a friendly and inviting gathering of singing voice professionals who desire to become more familiar and comfortable with the science of the singing voice. Egos and know-it-all attitudes are left at the door as everyone, from the advanced scientist or practitioner to the curious novice, is welcome to learn about and explore in depth the exciting world of the science of singing.
This workshop is for teachers of singing and voice pedagogy as well as for professional singers, students of singing, and speech language pathologists who desire to know more about singing voice science. Whether you’d like to brush-up your pedagogy and science skills, learn the basics of acoustics, or familiarize yourself with VoceVista, this is the workshop for you.
Montclair State University is located less than 20 miles from New York City, which is easily accessible by car, bus, or train. Consider adding a couple of days on either side of The Singing Voice Science Workshop for a visit to spectacular New York City!
