The Faculty of Music at WLU seeks a full-time instructor in Applied Studio Voice for a two-year Limited Term Appointment for the academic years 2017-19, beginning July 1, 2017 (conditional upon budget approval). Duties will include private studio voice instruction and master class; other areas of the candidate’s expertise may be considered. Administrative duties and all other associated Faculty responsibilities shall be expected.
The qualified candidate will have a proven record of teaching excellence in voice at the post-secondary level, as outlined in a CV and accompanying teaching dossier (teaching philosophy, sample course outlines/assignments, teaching evaluations). The candidate may be active currently as a performer and should have a wide range of national or international performing experience. Demonstrated administrative and interpersonal skills will be considered essential.
