Schubert’s art song triumph, Winterreise will be performed by Daniel Lichti, baritone, and the Penderecki String Quartet. The same artists recently performed Winterreise to a sell-out audience at the 2019 Elora Festival.

Workshop 1:30 – 3:30 pm – Pedagogy Workshops
Lorna MacDonald and Midori Koga, with doctoral voice pedagogy and piano pedagogy students, present a fascinating workshop exploring the expanding field of pedagogy. Explore balance, breath, and student-centered learning in the classroom and studio. Music teachers, performers, and students alike will enjoy this event.

For those unfortunate folks among you that missed it, or for those of you who can’t wait for an encore, ‘Another Voice Recital… The Sequel’ will take place on Friday, February 3rd, 2012, at 7:30pm, at the Aurora Cultural Centre.
As we look forward to our NATS Ontario Spring Meeting and Workshops on May 7th at the University of Toronto, Linda Condy and Michelyn Wright are planning a fundraising voice recital: “Not ANOTHER Voice Recital”, will be an evening of song and frivolity. Proceeds from the recital will support the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Ontario Chapter Scholarship Fund.
The concert takes place the night before our Meeting: Friday May 6th at Central United Church in the heart of old Unionville.
