The SNATS UofT team
The voice students at the Faculty of Music at the University of Toronto are pleased to announce the creation of a new Student Chapter of NATS.
What is SNATS?
From the official website of NATS: “The National Association of Teachers of Singing has fostered the formation of student chapters in order to advance knowledge about the Association and the professions of teaching and singing. A Student NATS (SNATS) Chapter is an organization of students that can meet, hold events and discussions, participate, practice, and learn more about voice teaching as a profession.”
Why SNATS UofT?
SNATS UofT was created in order to offer support to students transitioning from the academic setting of university to successful professional careers as teachers and performers. It will provide leadership, organizational and communication roles that will be transferable to their future as leaders in the singing community.
SNATS UofT has created a constitution and is now recognized as an official University of Toronto Group.
