Erin Milley-Patey lives in Saugeen Shores and enjoys the many facets of her musical life as a singing teacher, adjudicator, music director and performer. Whether in her own performance or working with others, Erin’s focus is on diving deep into musical scores and lyrics, and the importance of using one’s unique voice to tell meaningful stories in a distinctive way in many genres.
Erin has had students go on to study music at the university level, as well as win numerous awards in local and provincial music festivals, the NATS Ontario Vocal Showcase and the NATS Great Lakes Regional Student Auditions.
Along with regularly performing in solo recitals and community events, Erin sings with the Acapella Chamber Choir and the H&H Trio. She is a faculty member of the Summer Music Society summer camp where she is an instructor in the Musical Theatre program. She is an active member of both the Owen Sound and Hanover/Walkerton ORMTA chapters, The SpeakEasy Cooperative, and the current secretary for the NATS Ontario Chapter.
Erin holds a Bachelor of Music Honours from Memorial University of Newfoundland, a Master of Music in Opera Performance from the University of British Columbia. She strives to continue her education and growth as a teacher, and completed the VPUD with Dr. Shannon Coates in 2023.
