Anyone may donate to the scholarship fund via PayPal or by mailing a cheque to our treasurer. All donations go directly to the scholarship fund, which is divided amongst the winners of the Vocal Showcase. As NATS Ontario is a charitable organization, donations will be given a tax receipt at the end of the year.

In 2018, NATS Ontario distributed nearly $7,000 in scholarships at the Vocal Showcase.

In 2017, NATS Ontario was thrilled to distribute $7,650 in scholarships to deserving young singers.

Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award

Empowering Voices, Transforming Futures, Honouring our Mentors, Learning for All

🍁 What is the new Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award?

The Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award is created to provide funding to Canadian voice teachers from coast to coast to coast to assist with attending exceptional learning opportunities at qualifying voice conferences, symposia, and workshops. It is administered by the Ontario Chapter, National Association of Teachers of Singing Chapter (NATS ONTARIO).

🍎 Teacher-Centred, Student-Focused

As our field broadens to meet the needs of singers in the 21st Century, the Award recognizes and promotes professional development for Canadian voice teachers in independent studios, voice programs, and music schools with a commitment to making learning and student-centred voice pedagogy more accessible to all.

🌈 Diverse and Inclusive

The Canadian Voice Pedagogy Award is for voice teachers of all backgrounds, interests, and experiences.
